Pricing, quoting and payment terms are on their own page. Everything else, just ask.
Should we just use Square, Fresha or Calendly?
Often, yes. If an off-the-shelf tool does the job, use it. Custom is worth it when the tool stops fitting: a deposit it will not take, a split it cannot do, a connection to your accounting that does not exist. Send us your situation and if the answer is Fresha, we will say so.
Can you take over an existing or half-finished project?
Yes. You don't have to start again just because the original developer disappeared or the project got stuck. We'll first work out what's there, what's salvageable and what actually needs changing. If keeping what you have makes sense, we will.
What does it cost and do you charge to quote?
It depends on the job. Send us a rough description and we will give you an indicative range at no charge. If you decide to proceed, the scope, price and delivery window are agreed before development starts.
What is in the free check?
We look at how a customer gets from finding you to paying you: your website, how enquiries and bookings come in and how payment happens. You get a short written reply on where it slows down and what we would fix first, or that nothing needs fixing. It costs nothing and there is no call to book.
Who owns the code, and what if you disappear?
You own it once the final invoice is paid, including the accounts it runs on, and it is built on ordinary tools any developer can pick up. There is no licence to keep paying and nothing stops working if you stop working with us.
How long does a build take?
Weeks, not months. Most work in this range takes two to six weeks once scope is agreed. If you want to change something mid-build you get a short written note on what it costs and what it does to the date, and nothing is built until you say yes.
Do you work with small businesses in Sydney?
Yes. Small and medium businesses in Sydney are who this lab is for: the ones where a booking that fails or a payment that does not land is felt the same day. Small jobs are welcome, and we work with businesses elsewhere in Australia when the job suits it.
